- Collaborate with PhD students within the BEATLE project, focusing on the ecologicaleconomic modeling of transformation scenarios
- Contribute to cutting-edge publications, project reports, and new research proposals
- Build model linkages between farm-level and CGE models to deepen understanding of the feedback loops between land use, pollination services, and crop yields
- Develop your own research program and conceptualize new project proposals
Your qualifications:
- PhD in agricultural/environmental economics or related field (e.g., computer science focused on natural resources)
- Expertise in economic simulation models (CGE, land-use, farm-level, or multi-agent systems)
- Proficiency in GAMS and R (knowledge of Python or Julia is an asset)
- Strong programming and data analysis skills
- Proficiency in English is essential, a knowledge of German is an additional advantage
